I am the President and CEO of Bradford Mortgage and Realty, Inc., operating under the trade names Rapid Response Mortgage and Rapid Response Realty. With a solid foundation in real estate spanning over two and a half decades, I consider myself a trailblazer in the industry.
Academically, I hold an impressive array of credentials. I am currently pursuing a PhD and am expected to graduate in 2024. I also hold an MPA with a focus on Fiscal Management from Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA, and a BA in Urban Politics and Political Science from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. I am proud to be an HBCU graduate.
I am licensed as a Real Estate Broker and a Mortgage Broker in California, and I hold a Certificate of Commercial Real Estate from the San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR), in addition to multiple educational certificates. My expertise extends across various domains within real estate, including Shopping Center Development, Retail Leasing, Commercial Office Space management, and creating joint venture partnerships between Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and Private Developers. I have been instrumental in high-stakes Development Projects, contributing significantly to the growth and development of communities.
Passionate about homeownership, I am dedicated to assisting first-time homebuyers. I have been actively involved in the development of mortgage programs with entities such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and State Agencies. My commitment to educating prospective homeowners and preparing them for mortgage opportunities is unwavering, and my proficiency in navigating various mortgage products ensures that I find tailored financing solutions for my clients.
At the core of my activities lies Economic Development. I am deeply engaged in uplifting small businesses, non-profits, education, and real estate. Currently serving as the Chair of the Consolidated Plan Advisory Board (CPAB) for the city of San Diego, I play a pivotal role in allocating Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to non-profits on behalf of the City. Additionally, I serve on several Boards and Commissions, leveraging my expertise to foster economic growth and strengthen communities.
